Color
Color & texture serve as the sensory interface between people and objects. Designing visual and tactile qualities is an integral part of product development. I am pleased to support you in color palette and texture development.
Color in Changing Daylight
Color Palette
for Hella Jongerius / Vitra
For the project Color in Changing Daylight, I blended the light nuances of 34 colors. The color temperature of sunlight shifts throughout the day, from reddish to bluish tones, merging with the original color. I captured these daylight nuances and translated the visual phenomenon into colored clay spheres.
Officially presented during Dutch Design Week 2011 at the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) in Rotterdam, this project was showcased as part of „Daringdesign.“ At the Milan Furniture Fair in 2013, Vitra presented classic pieces by Charles and Ray Eames, Jean Prouvé, and George Nelson, all incorporating elements of this new color theory.

3D-Printed MetaformTools
for Studio 7.5
MetaformTools are 3D-printed accessories made from PLA, available in a diverse color range for the Metaform Portfolio office furniture system by Herman Miller.
We emphasize the additive, layer-by-layer printing process rather than imitating traditional plastic manufacturing methods. The distinctive fine-groove texture results from a deliberately coarse print resolution, celebrating this innovative manufacturing technique in a unique way. A practical advantage of the coarse print resolution is the reduced print time, offering economic benefits.
Users can order items such as glasses holders, Post-it dispensers, brush holders, various hooks, and more online to personalize their workspace. Companies with their own 3D printers even have the option to design and print custom MetaformTools. The combined manufacturing strategy for Metaform Portfolio—mixing traditional injection molding with an on-demand print-to-order routine—enables a broad yet flexible product offering.

SCHALALALAL! Exhibition
Color Design
for Futurium / Studio Trikoton
The Futurium Berlin, in collaboration with Studio Trikoton, presented an interactive installation for the 2024 European Football Championship, featuring a multi-meter-long fan scarf that was knitted live and digitally.
The installation focused on sustainability in football. Visitors could share fan chants and wishes, which were transformed into multicolored knit patterns. The bold color contrasts of the patterns were inspired by the characteristic appearance of traditional fan scarves.
